    Assuming you've already setup the page for SLDS styling:

    <svg class="slds-icon slds-icon-text-default" aria-hidden="true">
    <use xlink:href="/assets/icons/utility-sprite/svg/symbols.svg#announcement"></use>
    </svg>
    Description of icon when needed
