  • How to create a report in Salesforce which will achieve following goals?

Hi all. I'm a SF admin but only because no one else in my organization is. I'm not a developer. I would like to create a report which will:

    1. Generate itself daily at a scheduled time, say 8:00am, my time.
    2. Randomly select 10 accounts with contact name, phone number, all notes associated with the account.
    3. Will not select any account more than once until all accounts have been reported.
    4. The account must be a prospect, not a customer.
    5. The account must not have recorded any activity within the previous 60 days.
    6. Keep track of the dates & accounts reported.

The goal here is to keep up with prospects regularly but not too often. The challenge is to get the date reporting correct.  For example, if the report shows Acme, Inc today & Acme, Inc. was created 61 days ago then I shouldn't see Acme, Inc. again until all of the accounts which meet the criteria have been reported to me.

Thanks for your ideas in advance.

    Steve?

    Hi Steve,

You can schedule a report by first selecting a existing report or creating new then Click Run Report and choose Schedule Future Runs..Use this link. But for your other requirement you need to use Report AND Dashboard API,This link will help you.

    Hope this will help you.
