How to deal with multiple start dates MDQ products

Hello dear forcetalks community !
I would require your expertise on a question related to CPQ and MDQ Products 🙂
I have some requirements inside my company to be able to build MDQ Quotes including products with different start dates.
Unfortunately, when dealing with MDQ products it is not possible to set the start/end dates on the Quote line level, only on the Quote level,This is an issue for us as we are not able to build a simple quote as this one:
- MDQ Product A --> From 01/01/2021 to 31/12/2022
- MDQ Product B --> From 01/05/2021 to 31/12/2022
- MDQ Product C --> From 28/07/2021 to 31/12/2022
The only solution I thought of is using "Custom" price dimensions, so that the sales users can decide start and end dates of each segment,
But, this is not perfect as it requires many user actions (even for each renewals).
Have you ever seen a CPQ configuration where 2 types of MDQ Products are standing:
- With Yearly Price Dimensions (for quotes including same start dates lines
- Duplicate products with Custom Price Dimensions and (for quotes including different start dates lines)
