    Hi

The Environment Hub lets you connect, create, view, and log in to Salesforce orgs from one location. If your company has multiple environments for development, testing, and trials, the Environment Hub lets you streamline your approach to org management.

Developer Edition  : It's a free edition basically provided for the development and deployment on Force.com typically takes place in an environment or org, which provides a number of features and services for applications within that environment. There is one type of environments in particular that deserve to be called out.
Partner Edition :  Build a Force.com application using a Single or Multi-Org Development Strategy,Perform Robust Testing against various Sandbox and Production Editions ,Provide your Sales Team with adequate orgs for customer demonstrations.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Salesforce Environment Hub - It lets partners view, connect, create, and log in to multiple Salesforce organizations from one location. This can be especially convenient if you use a large number of organizations for business, development, and testing. Basically, if you have a large number of organizations then you can use Environment Hub.

How is partner developer edition is different from developer edition -

Developer Edition is for Initial Development or Prototyping which is free with no sandbox and storage size of 20mb. DE can have only 15000 API limits/ day while on another hand Partner Developer Edition is for Application development or Initial testing which is free for ISVs or Consulting Partners with no sandbox and storage size of 250mb. PDE can have 50,000 API limits/day.

NOTE - We can Upgrade our Developer Edition into Partner Developer Edition by requesting PDE license from Salesforce.

    Hope This will help you.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    To add important note -

AppExchange Partners (ISVs) should never enable Environment Hub in the DE org that contains a managed package — this could cause issues when you try to upload a new package version or push an upgrade to your customers.

    Hope this helps.
