    Hi Prachi,

Queues are typically used when you want to assign a record to a bunch of users. With the help of queues, you can assign a record to multiple users (using queues) so that any member of the queue can work on the record. It also allows the users to have their separate views.

Territory Management Concepts. Territory management is an account sharing system that grants access to accounts based on the characteristics of the accounts. It enables your company to structure your Salesforce data and users the same way you structure your sales territories.

    Thanks.

    Hi Prachi,

Territory: Territory—Public Group that includes all of the User records in an organization that has the territory feature enabled.

A territory can have inherited account assignment rules, meaning that the rules were created somewhere higher in the territory hierarchy and consequently also impact the given territory.
A territory can have locally defined account assignment rules, meaning that the rule was created at the given territory.

Queues: Public Group that includes all of the User records that are members of a queue.

    Hi,

Queues help your teams to manage service contracts, cases, leads and custom objects. Once records are placed in a queue manually or through an automatic case or lead assignment rule, records remain there until they're assigned to a user or taken by one of the queue members.

A territory is a flexible collection of accounts and users where the users have at least read access to the accounts, regardless of who owns the account. By configuring territory settings, users in a territory can be granted read, read/write, or owner-like access (that is, the ability to view, edit, transfer, and delete records) to the accounts in that territory. Both accounts and users can exist in multiple territories. You can manually add accounts to territories, or you can define account assignment rules that assign accounts to territories for you.

    Hope this helps.
