Connected Apps. A connected app is a framework that enables an external application to integrate with Salesforce using APIs and standard protocols, such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect. Connected apps use these protocols to authenticate, authorize, and provide single sign-on (SSO) for external apps.

A "Connected App" is an application that can connect to salesforce.com over Identity and Data APIs. Connected Apps use the standard OAuth 2.0 protocol to authenticate, provide Single Sign-On, and acquire access tokens for use with Salesforce APIs.

    Hey Ayush,
There are several applications that you can connect with Salesforce, some of the popular ones would be Quickbooks Salesforce Integration.
You can easily integrate Salesforce and Quickbooks together through third-party applications, one such application is eShopSync for Quickbooks.
You can browse their supporting links here: https://eshopsync.com/quickbooks/
