Master Solution Architect Iman Maghroori walks you through the Mass Delete app from the AppExchange and shows you how to add the mass delete button to your list view pages. He'll also walk you through the Mass Delete feature that is built into Salesforce. As a third option, he'll show you how to use reports, filters, and cross filters to create a list of records and delete them using Data Loader. It all depends on how much control and granularity you need over the contacts you want to delete.
It's important to note that in order to use any of these features you need Administrator rights on your Salesforce org.
