Salesforce Admin training : How to create a custom app in Salesforce?

In this tutorial, you will learn to create a custom app in Salesforce and go through a quick overview of Profiles. Profiles control the visibility of your application, one profile can be given to multiple users but one user can only have one profile at a time. Through profiles you can control which applications a logged in user can see. A custom application can also have standard tabs associated with it. While building the app you can choose from the available list of tabs like reports, dashboards, contacts, accounts etc. You will also see how to create a custom object for our application when you create the custom object, you can create a tab associated with the object.
